ABOUT
In 2017 Alton Walker started serving chili to people living on the streets and inviting them to church at Northwest Church of Christ. The ministry has continued to grow in recent years and now feeds people on Friday and Saturday evenings, provides transportation to church on Sundays with two meals, and shares the Good News of the Gospel every chance we get. Over the last six years thousands have been fed, hundreds attended church, and dozens baptized as we continue to bless the homeless every chance we get.
Our Dream
We believe that people who are treated as if they are invisible on the streets of Oklahoma City
deserve to be seen, helped, supported, loved, and connected to Jesus Christ and his church.
Feeding the Hungry
On Friday and Saturday evenings Alton takes a van downtown to serve chili and make friends. Be sure to reach out if you'd like to ride along and make some new friends.
Connecting to Church
Most weeks we provide transportation to and two meals at Northwest Church of Christ. One Sunday a month we visit other sponsor congregations.
Praise in the Park
Four Sundays each year we really have fun and serve lunch and worship God together in a downtown park. This really lets us take church to where people really need it.
